Sun N Fun is dedicated to making sure every single person who flies with us receives a white glove five star experience. Satisfaction guaranteed! We mean it. If you don’t enjoy your flight well put you back up for free. On us!
- Our vessel leaves the dock every hour on the hour and carries up to 6 customers at a time. This does include any observers. While out on the Gulf we can fly one, two, or three people together. We do ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
- The minimum age is 5 years old to parasail and we do have a minimum weight requirement. This requirement is the combined weight in the parasail. 170lbs - 500lbs combined.
- If you can step into a boat and take a comfortable seat you can parasail. Our coast guard regulated vessel is rated up to 6 paying passages plus one USCG Master Captain and a highly trained first mate. Anyone over the age of 5 can parasail and anyone who can fit into an infant lifejacket can come aboard.
- We operate 7 days a week weather permitting from Feb 14th till April 19th. We recommend booking at the beginning of your trip incase of bad weather, you’ll have the ability to reschedule.
- Every passenger takes off and lands on the back of the boat in a smooth and calm manner. You can stay completely dry if you’d like. But we encourage the dip!
- Your party will receive vessel safety instructions upon boarding and then receive proper flight instructions prior to your flight. Sun N Fun Parasail follows all ASTM standards listed in the F3099 document. We are also active members of the WSIA, with our owner on the leadership board. This ensures the safest, most up-to-date training possible so that all guests can fly with peace of mind.
- While in the air flying 1,000 feet above Manasota Key, also known as Englewood Beach you’ll have the opportunity to see sting rays, dolphin, fish, sea turtles, manatee and sharks. Yes, sharks. (Don’t worry we put out signs that say no biting. )
- We recommend reservations as it secures your time and place but walk ups are always welcome!
